The ThermaGuard Heated Soft Pak is a patent-pending heated blanket solution with a rigid conductive metal liner that allows for self regulating heater cables to be installed onto the liner. This removes the heater cable from the process piping or instrument manifold, while providing up to 200 watts of heat without the self regulating cable being exposed to over-temperature process temps. The ThermaGuard Heated Soft Pak can be installed onto a pipe stand for instrument protection applications, or it can hang from process piping or tubing for root valve (primary isolation Valve) applications.

Heater cables can be matched with the pre-insulated tubing bundle for simplicity of installation and maintenance.
The ThermaGuard Soft pack heater can be easily placed to the side, freeing up the instrument technician to work on the isolation valve or instrument with no heater cable obstructing the process tubing/piping or instrument manifold.
By eliminating the use of MI cable for higher process temperatures, the cable sheath temperatures can be easily engineered to stay below the T rating (auto-ignition temperature) of the area as self regulating cables have lower sheath temperatures than MI cable.
The ThermaGuard bottom section allows for 12 ft of heater cable to be installed on the conductive liner, which is considerably more cable that could be installed directly onto the tubing, piping, isolation valves, or instrument manifold to provide enough heat to ensure winterization protection.
For the battery application, we use 12 V or 24 V heater cables, which provides heat to the battery to keep it within temperature range for safe discharge or re-charge.
